Deliveries are made Monday through Friday and weekend meals are provided as needed.The Meals on Wheels program addresses the nutritional needs of the homebound elderly and disabled. A variety of therapeutic meals including chopped and pureed are available to satisfy specific dietary requirements. Some clients qualify for financial assistance. Full fee service is also available for non-qualifying clients. HomePlate, our weekly delivery of seven substantive, frozen entrees, offers balanced nutrition as well as choice and convenience. The menu is available upon request. Family Fare offers the delivery of freshly prepared meals on a fee for service basis and can also accommodate needed therapeutic diets. FSW also operates 20 senior community cafés throughout the Greater New Haven area.
