FSW’s Micro Credit Businesses hosts 2nd Annual Holiday Business Showcase

FSW, Inc., Bridgeport, CT, [Dec 14, 2009] - FSW’s Micro Credit Businesses (MCB), in conjunction with the City of Bridgeport Small and Minority Business Office, held the second annual Holiday Business Showcase at City Hall Annex in Bridgeport. MCB clients, mentors and experts, and small and minority business owners were invited to attend the event, which was held to provide networking opportunities as well a forum for business owners to highlight their products and services. About 50 people attended the event.

Among the products displayed were SuperSeedz, created and distributed by Newtown Resident Kathie Rosenschein. Two photographic studios, Carmen A. Nieves owner of Photography Plus and Seabreeze Photo Studio owned by Jon Wason, (both of Bridgeport) were also represented. Other entrepreneurs included Sonia Spencer owner of the Bridgeport based Let’s Bounce Family Entertainment Center and New Haven’s Roxanne Velez who helps create a scrapbooks of life memories . Ed Stodolski, owner of Copiers Plus Worldwide, LLC hails from Stratford. George Velasco from Stamford provided the entertainment for the evening.

MCB helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses by providing networking opportunities, mentoring, training scholarships, and expert advisory services from area professionals at reduced rates. Loans for working capital may also be available for those without access to traditional lending resources.
